1. Introduction

Althan Ltd (“Althan”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides decentralised mobility services in the United Kingdom. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) together with our Privacy Notice govern your use of the Althan website, dashboard and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to purchase an Althan insurance policy. You agree that the information you provide is true, accurate and up‑to‑date.

3. Referral Programme

New customers receive two (2) months of free cover. You may invite up to ten (10) friends; for each friend who purchases a policy, you earn one (1) additional free month. Free‑cover months are applied consecutively and are non‑transferable.

4. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Althan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

• Identity data (name, date of birth, driving‑licence details)
• Contact data (address, email, phone)
• Vehicle information (registration, make, model, telematics data if opted‑in)
• Usage data (pages visited, referral activity, device information)

2. How We Use Your Data

• To issue and administer our services
• To operate the referral programme and apply free‑cover months
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
• For fraud detection and risk scoring
• For service improvement and analytics (using anonymised data where possible)

3. Lawful Bases

We process personal data under the UK GDPR on the bases of Contract (providing your policy), Legitimate Interests (service improvement, fraud prevention) and Legal Obligation (regulatory record‑keeping).

4. Data Sharing & Storage

Data is stored in Supabase servers located in the EEA. We share data only with trusted partners (under NDA) for policy underwriting, claims handling and compliance. Data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
